Help Byron and Jenell Overcome Medical Crisis

We are Byron and Jenell Talbott.

We live in Kennewick, Washington and back on April 7th, while getting in the shower after working together on our house painting and new baseboard, I could not get out of the shower. My body went crazy. I don't remember any of it but I guess my hands were shaking uncontrollably, my speech was crazy, my eyes were snapping back and forth, my whole body was hit like a TIA event.

About a week in one hospital, they sent me to another hospital where I had a laminectomy done on L3/L4 vertebrae. After about 5 days, I was sent to a rehab center and made it 5 days of excruciating pain before I was sent back to the hospital. I had about 3 TIA like events over the whole period.

What I lost. I lost all my strength and cannot walk, my speech is altered, my eyesight greatly diminished, I also have arthritis over all my joints that I never had before.

The only explanation the Doctors have is I was sepsis.

Bottom line is my body has been destroyed BUT

I am blessed with a great persevering wife who has literally been by my side daily after work and she has carried the house, dogs and me.

I am on medicare and my benefits have run out so I am going home tomorrow Saturday July 20th. I am not ready but we cannot afford 11,000.00 up front to stay here. We already owe over 10,000.00 to this facility and over 8,000.00 in additional medical bills. We have to purchase special medical equipment for our house and just so much unforeseen expenses.

I believe in God's healing power and I know I have hundreds of people praying for us. Praying for strength in my legs and arms so I can stand!

Being disabled prior to this devastating event I was still able to drive, do the grocery shopping, and at home in my wheelchair I vacuumed, cleaned, did laundry, cooked and many other activities

Right now I can't do any of that. The equipment we need to purchase will go a long way in moving my recovery forward as well as continued therapy.
