Hi, I'm Carolyn Speigner. I am raising funds to cover the cost of stroke rehab for my husband Byran Speigner.

On the morning of December 11, 2023, while preparing to get on the road, like he does every Monday, Byran sadly could not get on the road after more than 30 years as a truck driver.

That morning while get ready to drive one of his primary routes from Alabama to Florida, he suffered a major stroke to the right side of his brain. He was immediately rushed to have an emergency surgery to remove a very large blood clot from his brain. Since then he has suffered from major swelling on the brain, a blood clot in his heart, a blood clot in his arm, and more.

Now 4 weeks later, while still in ICU he is now stable, he is seeing good signs of improved mobility. The doctors have said, with a stroke this size, the first 6 months after the stroke are critical. He needs to have full and aggressive rehab treatment. Unfortunately, although we have insurance, our insurance does not cover rehab.
