Help by giving back to Gary & Ruth Lucchesi

Eastern Billiards began in Somerville, Massachusetts in 1960 by Paul Lucchesi Sr. His fourth son Gary and his wife Ruth, who had started their own lives in Houston, Texas, were asked by Gary's father to move back to Somerville to take over Eastern Billiards in 1976. In 1994 the Lucchesi's closed their Somerville business and relocated to Florida with only a check book, 2 cars, 2 kids, a trailer and a cat. In an effort to continue his father’s legacy Gary and Ruth decided to restart Eastern Billiards from scratch in 1995. With over 50 years of knowledge and experience in the industry, they quickly became a household name in Central Florida by providing professional billiard supplies, equipment and repairs for the last 28 years.

On Tuesday, June 20th a fire started in the back warehouse and quickly spread to the storefront. Luckily both Gary and Ruth made it out safely just in the nick of time. However, the years of blood, sweat, and tears that they had poured into their business went up in flames. Anything that didn't melt or burn was completely damaged from the water and soot, leaving nothing but destruction and despair.

Gary and Ruth, through Eastern Billiards have spent years sponsoring and donating to players, tours and events throughout Central Florida. They have given their heart and soul to the pool community through their business. It's now our turn to come together to show our gratitude and support by giving back to one of the longest standing pillars in the billiard community.

Anything that you find in your heart to give would be an incredible blessing for Gary and Ruth to help them in their immediate and mounting expenses during this difficult time is very appreciated.
