Help buy needed supplies for the West Coast of FL

Hi, my name is Jose most of you know my as Joey. I’m starting this GoFundMe page to raise money so we can help the people that were affected by Hurricane Ian. I am a Firefighter for Miami Beach Fire Department and after seeing all the footage coming from the West Coast of Florida and having friends that were directly affected by this disaster, my first instinct is to do whatever I can to help. Being born and raised in south Florida I know the impact a hurricane can leave behind. The day after the initial impact of Hurricane Ian I loaded my truck up with $10,000 worth of supplies which included 8 generators , 4 chainsaws and 45 gallons of gas. I picked up Jorge Ospina who is also a fireman and drove over to Estero Fire Department. Once there I met up with a friend of mine that works there and we were able to distribute all the supplies. Some went to the firefighters and the rest went to the local people in that area. Unfortunately I am not in the position to be able to just donate $10,000 so I sold all the supplies at cost not making any profit which of course is not the point. This time around I would like to raise the money by donations so we can donate all the supplies to the people that are in need and in different locations on the west coast. All donations will be strictly for supplies. My primary goal will be getting more generators and more fuel. I kept all the contacts of the people who bought supplies on the first trip and if we raise more money than we need I will divide the extra cash and send money back to the people that bought supplies on the first run over. Please help with whatever you can, Anything will help and will be greatly appreciated.

The photo I chose is a picture of the 8 generators for the first run over. The look on everyone’s face once receiving the supplies is why I’m trying to do another supply run back to the West Coast.
