Help buy an ‘Innowalk’ in the name of Amber Giles
On Sunday 18th July 2021, 10 year old Amber Isabelle Giles fell asleep forever, leaving her family completely heartbroken.
Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Amber (and even those who didn’t and just saw pictures and videos of her on Facebook) were quickly captivated by her beaming smile, her wicked sense of humour & infectious laugh.
Amber attended Northern Counties School in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. A school she thrived at! In recent times, she particularly enjoyed taking part in a trial of an ‘Innowalk’
She would literally grin from ear to ear throughout all of her sessions!
The Innowalk is a powerful 3-in-1 device for sitting, standing and moving by a company call Made For Movement. It is a pioneering, dynamic motorised device which offers physical and emotional well-being by providing the opportunity for physical activity.
To pay tribute to Amber, we would love to raise enough funds to purchase an Innowalk machine from Made for Movement and gift it to Northern counties School in her memory. It will give children with complex needs like Amber the chance to experience something we all take for granted -walking.
Amber loved to see others happy and enjoying themselves, so we can’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate her life by giving her school friends something that will bring them as much joy as it brought to her!
Thank you so much for your support! It means the absolute world!
