Hi. I’m almost in tears writing this. My uncle saved a baby kitten in need thirteen long years ago. This changed me and my family's entire life. This poor little stray was being abused, thrown around, and kicked for fun. My uncle saw this and immediately went into action, saving the poor kitty from torment. My uncle, after having this kitten for a few weeks, realized, unfortunately, he was too much for my uncle to take care of at that time. He wanted the kitten to go to a better home. He brought him to us: me, my mother, my father, my sister, and my brother. When we all saw that snuggly ball of fluff for the first time, we knew he was perfect. We had a cat , Pandora, who needed a friend :) Butterscotch Thirteen happy years later, that same little kitten finds himself in need again. He was okay just days ago, then I realized something was wrong, very wrong. I’ve always admired Butterscotch's big beautiful eyes, bright, a yellowish sort of tan. I noticed his eyes. His eyes were different. His pupils were large, very large, so large I couldn’t see his big bright beautiful yellow eyes. I immediately told my family. We took him to the vet. We found out he’s blind. Why? They are not sure. Our vet has recommended that we see an eye specialist and possibly a neurologist because his sudden loss of vision could be neurological. We have already spent hundreds of dollars on blood tests and a vision test. Our vet suspects something neurological and has estimated an MRI costing from $3,800-$4,500. We need your help.
