Butters is my beloved male Maine Coon, and he’s just about a year old. Recently, he’s been having a really hard time using the bathroom, and after a trip to the vet, we found out he has crystals in his urine. Unfortunately, the antibiotics didn’t help, and now he needs to go back to the vet to have the crystallized urine expressed. I’m hoping this can be done without surgery, but if it’s more serious, he may need to be put under and have a catheter placed for a few days to help him recover.
This has been a stressful and emotional time for both of us. Butters is such a sweet, loving cat, and seeing him in pain is heartbreaking. The costs for his care—including the vet visit, any procedures, medications, and follow-up appointments—are more than I can manage on my own right now. I want to do everything I can to make sure he gets the treatment he needs and has the best chance at a full recovery.
Thank you so much for your help! You have no idea how much it means to me—our animals are like our family and should be treated as such. Any support you can give will go directly to Butters’ care and will make a world of difference for both of us.
