Help Butterfly World survive Covid-19

We need your help!
As we approach 28 years open on 18th May 2020, it is absolutely heartbreaking that we have only been open for 5 weeks after our winter break before the forced closure due to Covid-19.
Butterfly World is a small family business as most of you already know and since opening back in 1992 we feel that we have grown to become part of the local community. Many of our customers who visit us year after year and even generations of families, feel more like family than customers and we miss you all so much!
The closure has had a massive impact as our ongoing costs for animal care, heating, maintenance and seasonal re-opening costs still need to be covered and as we are only open for 8 months of the year, we have so far already been closed for a quarter of our season with an income of zero since 23rd March.
If we have any hope of coming through this and re-opening and surviving our next winter closure we need your help. We never thought we would be in this position to ask for help to survive but here we are.
We ask that you firstly look after yourselves and your families and only donate what you can, every little will help.
