Butter is my sweet, gentle, and affectionate cat whom I rescued from Brooklyn the year before last. he has been a healthy and happy companion, always bringing warmth and comfort to my life.
Last October, I noticed Butter was losing weight and his appetite was fading. Concerned, I took him to the vet, where blood tests initially suggested FIP. He underwent several months of treatment, but sadly, there was no improvement. After ruling out FIP, an ultrasound raised concerns about a possible tumor. Thankfully, it was not cancer, but Butter’s health continued to decline. The medications he had been on stopped working, and surgery became necessary.
During this period, due to an initial misdiagnosis, I have already spent a significant amount on examinations, medications, blood tests, and imaging.
At the same time, another cat I previously rescued recently went through treatment for FIP, and the continuous medical expenses have already become overwhelming for me.
Now, faced with the high cost of this surgery, I no longer have the financial ability to cover it on my own. With no other choice, I can only turn to everyone for help and start a fundraiser.

Butter is now in the hospital, where a CT scan revealed a severe lung infection with part of his lung tissue already necrotic. He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow, and I am doing everything I can to give him the best chance at recovery. The funds raised will go directly toward Butter’s hospital stay, surgery costs, medications, and follow-up care.
