Hey Butter Love Fam,

On August 18th, 2025, something heartbreaking happened at our shop. After returning from a pop-up, I walked in to find that two of our shelving units had collapsed. All of our body oils spilled onto the floor, our glass measuring cups shattered, and nearly every container was broken. We had just invested $1,500 into supplies to fulfill wholesale orders, and everything was already mixed and ready to be bottled. In an instant, it was all gone.

This loss has put us in a very vulnerable position as a small business. Not only did we lose product and supplies, but we also lost the income that those wholesale orders would have brought in. As a small, community-rooted business, every dollar counts, and this setback is one that we cannot recover from alone.
