Help Butler get a Second Chance

PLEASE HELP! And spread the word! Sometimes it takes a village, and this is one of those cases. Priscilla’s Save the Animals Thrift Shop (Save the Animals, Inc) in Solvay, NY recently helped rescue a cat needing to go to Cornell for veterinary care.
This is Butler, a sweet Tuxedo cat rescued from the Westside of Syracuse. Butler has had a rough life so far. We are guessing he is around 5 and was left behind when his people moved away. Butler survived by going house to house begging for food. We received a call when one of the neighbors discovered him beaten up and injured. While healing his initial wounds, we found out Butler is FIV+ and has severe stomatitis. He has broken teeth and extensive lesions and sores on his tongue, his gums and in his mouth. He needs pain medicine multiple times a day to help him eat.
While he is struggling physically and is in a lot of pain, Butler has a very determined spirit! Because of his complicated medical situation, we’ve been referred to Cornell for dental surgery. Please help us raise $5,000 to cover the cost of his surgery. We will be forever thankful and so will Butler. He deserves to live his best life, pain free. Thank you for helping this cat in need.
