Help Butch Leman with Post-Transplant Expenses

I'm creating this fundraiser for my dad, Butch Leman.

After years of battling the effects of diabetes, dad's kidneys began to fail last spring. He was placed on the national transplant list, and after just six months, received the incredible news that a kidney was available at Virginia Mason in Seattle. Dad and his love, Darla, flew down right away and he underwent a successful kidney transplant on October 17, 2024.

Dad is very fortunate to have his medical expenses covered, but can still use help with the costs of living.

Following a few months of recovery in Seattle, dad has now returned home to Ninilchik, but he faces ongoing challenges as he continues his healing journey. His new housing arrangement has been delayed, and his current living space is not suitable for a post-transplant lifestyle. While we work on making his home more suitable, he has been temporarily staying at the Stay Salty Inn thanks to the generous support of the American Legion Post 18 and Brian & Katie Baker.

This fundraiser will help cover dad's housing and living expenses as he recovers from this life-changing procedure.
