Butch, my son's cat, is a gentle soul who has always brought comfort and joy to our family. Recently, Butch became very matted, and in an attempt to help him, a friend tried to clip one of the mats. Unfortunately, the clipper slipped and accidentally cut Butch's skin, leaving a hole about 1 1/2 inches long and very deep. Now, Butch is suffering and urgently needs medical attention to prevent infection and save his life.

My son is a homeless veteran, and I am living on Social Security. We have no resources to help Butch, who is such a baby doll and means the world to us. Watching him in pain is heartbreaking, and we are desperate to get him the care he needs. The funds raised will be completely used for veterinary care, including any surgery and aftercare required. Every dollar will go directly to helping Butch recover and stay healthy.
