Help Bury Yajaira Moreno, Mother of 2
On the 11th of August, my cousin Yajaira Moreno was murdered by her boyfriend and father of her 2 little children (11 and 8).
A victim of senseless, violent and ultimately fatal domestic abuse, our Yajaira met the same fate that tens of thousands of women meet every single day.
It was too late for her. But it isn’t too late to give her a proper burial.
In the next 2 weeks, our family will be burying our sweet, intelligent and lovely cousin.
We will also be fighting tooth and nail to keep custody of my niece and nephew.
All monies will be used to cover funeral and legal expenses in the legal battle for custody. Any extra funds raised will be given to her children for their safety and security.

El 11 de agosto, mi prima Yajaira Moreno fue asesinada por su novio y el padre de sus 2 pequeños hijos (11 y 8).
Una víctima de abuso doméstico insensato, violento y últimamente fatal, nuestra Yajaira sufrió el mismo destino que les cae a miles de mujeres todos los días.
Ya era demasiado tarde para ella. Pero no es demasiado tarde para darle un entierro adecuado.
Dentro de las próximas 2 semanas, nuestra familia le dará cristiana sepultura a nuestra dulce, inteligente y bella prima.
También lucharemos con uña y diente para mantener la custodia de mi sobrino y mi sobrina.
Todo el dinero se utilizará para cubrir los gastos legales y de funeral en la batalla legal por la custodia. Cualquier dinero extra recaudado se le dará a sus hijos para su seguridad y protección.
