Help Bury My Beloved Mom, Doris Mae

Hi, I am trying to raise funds to help bury my 98-year-old mom, Doris Mae Fritz Foster. My mom has been my light, my truth, and the real beginning of my story. I am the youngest and 6th of my mom's children. Doris was born here in Houston. She raised 5 other children. Then I came along at her age of 44. All her other children were practically grown by then. So it was just me and my mom, along with my older nephew. He was 4 years old when I was born but lost his mom, my oldest sister, at 7. So my mom had him and me to raise until he reached 14. My mom struggled to raise us both, but she taught us to be smart, she taught us strength, love,❤️ and gave us guidance to grow into loving and caring, smart adults. I became a teacher through her loving and giving personality. I wanted to show the same love and desired to help children grow into caring, smart, and loving adults. So, I decided the best age group to instill that was in the early stages of their lives, as children are learning about themselves and about life and choosing who they want to be. Therefore, I am a Pre-K Teacher of children ages 4-5 years old. Through my mom Doris Foster's teaching, I will continue to help do my part in raising loving, caring children that grow into successful adults.

My mom's insurance that she had carried for years and years turned out to be a term insurance. My mom had no idea of the fact that, the value of her insurance decreased as the years passed. when she realized it. Her insurance was ending and it was too late, due to her age no insurance would insure my mom. She lost the insurance and now she does not carry any current insurance plan at the age of 98. Because no one would insure her at her age. We now are forced to ask for help to bury our mom. Our goal is just the very basic, what we still need to bury her of 9,000 dollars. Just enough to give our loving caring mom of 98 a decent burial.
