Help Burn Victim Edward Coleman Recover After Tragic Texas Tanker Truck Accident

I was traveling westbound on Trinity Boulevard around 1:30 AM. I crossed the intersection of Post Oak and Trinity Boulevard. I had a green light. A car ran the red light T-boned me, hitting me and pushing me into the powerlines and into the Valero parking lot. The powerlines fell on top of the trailer, causing a massive fire. Fuel expelled out of the tractor, which instantly caught fire. I had to jump out of the truck just to survive before it blew up. The truck was completely surrounded by flames, so of course I got burnt jumping out of the fire.

Edward Coleman, a hardworking husband and father, was severely injured while driving a tanker gas truck when he was hit by a driver. The impact caused a devastating accident that left Edward with severe burns over a large portion of his body and face. He is currently in the ICU in the burn unit, fighting every day to survive and begin the healing process.

This is just the beginning of a very long journey. Edward will require multiple surgeries, ongoing medical care, and extensive rehabilitation. He will not be able to work or care for himself for a long time. Physically, mentally, and emotionally, this will take everything he has.

Edward is the provider and the foundation of our family. He supports his wife and their two children, including one child currently in college and an 11-year-old at home. With him unable to work, our family is now facing overwhelming financial uncertainty. We are struggling to cover basic living expenses, medical bills, and continue supporting our children during this time.
