I am writing to you today with a heavy heart but a hopeful spirit. My name is Tugsjargal, and I live in France. I am starting this fundraiser for my nephew-in-law, Burenjargal (Buren), a brilliant 32-year-old father who is fighting for his life.
The Connection to Our Community
Many of you know Buren as a former student of the Mongolian-Turkish High School of Darkhan (2006–2009). He has always been a person of great intellect and heart—a National Chemistry Olympiad medalist who has dedicated his life to learning. To his former teachers and classmates: Buren is now facing his toughest test yet, and he needs his community behind him.
Buren’s Battle
Buren is a devoted husband and the father of two young boys, aged 2 and 7. In 2023, just as he and his wife were welcoming their second son, he was diagnosed with a Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor (MPNST)—a rare and aggressive cancer.
For three years, Buren has fought with everything he has:
• Two major surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy in Mongolia.
• Targeted therapy and immunotherapy in China.
• Despite these efforts, the cancer has returned for the third time and metastasized to his lungs.
He is currently being treated at CICAMS (Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences) and Beijing Second Hospital. Despite the pain and the exhaustion, Buren’s spirit is unbroken. Even during his treatments, he managed to complete his Business Administration degree. He wants to live. He wants to see his sons grow up.
Why I Am Organizing This
Because GoFundMe does not currently transfer funds directly to Mongolian bank accounts, I am managing this campaign from France. 100% of your donations will be received into my French account and immediately transferred to Buren’s Khan Bank account in Mongolia to pay his medical bills in Beijing.
The Financial Goal
We urgently need to raise €63,000 – €66,000 to cover the upcoming treatment cycles. The costs are high because of the specialized nature of his care (as per below for every 3 week cycle, excluding seasonal radiology checks):
• Immunoglobulin Injections: ~25,000 RMB
• Targeted Medication: ~4,000 RMB
• Hospitalization & Scans: ~2,500 RMB
• Travel & Basic Lodging: ~3,000–4,000 RMB
Buren’s personal savings are completely exhausted. He needs to return to the hospital as soon as possible to continue his treatment.

Le combat de Buren
Buren est un mari dévoué et le père de deux jeunes garçons de 2 et 7 ans. En 2023, alors que sa femme et lui s'apprêtaient à accueillir leur deuxième fils, on lui a diagnostiqué une tumeur maligne des gaines nerveuses périphériques (MPNST), un cancer rare et agressif.
Pendant trois ans, Buren s'est battu de toutes ses forces :
• Deux interventions chirurgicales importantes, radiothérapie et chimiothérapie en Mongolie.
• Thérapie ciblée et immunothérapie en Chine.
• Malgré ces efforts, le cancer est réapparu pour la troisième fois et a métastasé aux poumons.
Il est actuellement soigné au CICAMS (Hôpital du cancer de l'Académie chinoise des sciences médicales) et à l'Hôpital n° 2 de Pékin. Malgré la douleur et l'épuisement, Buren garde un moral inébranlable. Même pendant ses traitements, il a réussi à obtenir son diplôme en administration des affaires. Il veut vivre. Il veut voir ses fils grandir.
Pourquoi j'organise cette campagne
Comme GoFundMe ne permet pas actuellement de transférer des fonds directement vers des comptes bancaires mongols, je gère cette campagne depuis la France. 100 % de vos dons seront reçus sur mon compte français et immédiatement transférés sur le compte bancaire de Buren à la Khan Bank en Mongolie afin de régler ses frais médicaux à Pékin.
Objectif financier
Nous devons réunir d'urgence entre 63 000 € et 66 000 € pour couvrir les prochains cycles de traitement. Les coûts sont élevés en raison de la nature spécialisée de ses soins (voir ci-dessous pour chaque cycle de 3 semaines, hors examens radiologiques saisonniers) :
• Injections d'immunoglobulines : environ 25 000 RMB
• Médicaments ciblés : environ 4 000 RMB
• Hospitalisation et examens : environ 2 500 RMB
