My name is Alyssa and I am creating this GoFundMe in the hopes to raise funds for my best friend, Bunny. I have had Bunny since she was 8 weeks old; she is my whole heart, my kid and my biggest fan.

Bunny is a 7 year old Chihuahua. Her Birthday is 05/13/18. She is the greatest gift and littlest love of my life.

On 8/11, I brought Bunny into Dove Lewis as she was showing signs of pain in her back after an extended walk. Bunny has had a very restrictive exercise regime, as she has chronic back problems.

It took Dove Lewis 14.5 hours to finally give Bunny pain medication on our initial visit. This incident I am currently trying resolve via their claims department and I feel truly, Dove Lewis owes us an explanation and financial coverage for the absolute egregious wait time and lack of communication during this initial ER visit.

That said, Bunny is currently being treated in Dove Lewis’ ICU for the back re-injury, which neurology at DL suspects is degenerative disc disease.

It appears quite likely that Bunny is going to require an MRI and may require surgery.

My partner Mike and I have already exasperated our financial resources by over $6000. It is expected that, assuming an MRI and/or surgery is needed — that way may need an additional $6000 or more.

Please help me save my best friend.
