I haven't known how to tell people, but on the 16th of January I was unexpectedly deported from Australia and have been stuck in Malaysia since then. I need to get funds together so that I can make it back to England and get a life set up after making Australia my home for the last 6.5 years with my PR due in November.

All of it has unexpectedly come from nowhere and all I was told was that "I didn't comply with my visa conditions" but was not given any further explanation about how or what that meant. I will be fighting it, but I have to lodge it from England and the estimate I got was that it will take between 1 and 3 years.

I flew back from a holiday in Bali to land in customs and to find out my visa was cancelled. I spent a few days in an immigration detention centre in Broadmeadows where I found out the airline had the responsibility to return me to where I came from (Bali) and that I had to pay for my own deportation. I tried to appeal the decision and get a bridging visa until everything was sorted, but they were looking for over 10,000$ which I was unable to pay. I contacted the British embassy, but was told that they would do nothing to help fly me back. If I was sent back to Bali where I would’ve had a visa that had run out (due to spending my holiday there) there was a threat of being held in a Balinese detention centre. Luckily the airline offered me a flight to Malaysia, Kulala Lumpur which has direct flight to England and because I would have a 90 day visa there so I would have time to get some funds/my things together.

I still have to get a flight to England and have to get help to start a life there as starting with nothing. I am trying to sell my car and some things to no avail. I need to get a flight to England, buy a car and buy tools to get me back in work and to try and get a place to rent. Luckily my family will house me but only for a small amount of time so need to get some money towards a bond. I also have been seperated from my dog Drillbit. So I also need to sort pet care for him and potentially transportation so that he can join me and we can be together.

I would be so thankful for anything that any of you have spare, every dollar will help me more than you can imagine right now. Hopefully I'll be back to buy you a round in return in no time at all.
