Help Bunny Fly Home

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

I’m a French girl living in San Francisco for 4 years. During this time I adopted a rabbit about 3 years ago, his name is Bunny and he is my absolute world!

Living abroad, especially in California, has always been a dream of mine, but it’s been extremely challenging and difficult. Bunny has been what helps me wake up in the morning (not only because he eats at 6 am!).

The hopes and dreams I had when I first moved to SF, I have to admit, are facing the hard reality of life and for that reason, I have to move back to France

Now, little did I know when I first adopted Bunny, that I would fall in love so much with this little furry ball, nor that I would have to think one day of possibly leaving him behind because of the reality of flying with rabbits.

As unfair as it is, rabbits aren’t allowed anymore to fly in cabin for international flights. (EDIT: LA Compagnie, a private flying company, is the ONLY ONE that takes rabbits in the cabin for flights over 6hrs).

For personal reason, I have to fly before him and Jodie founder of the association BUNNIES ON BOARD, has been helping me throughout the whole process of the fight to make sure Bunny could fly in the cabin. She is also going to help me ensuring Bunny’s safety throughout the journey, by traveling with him, and hand him to me in Paris (France).

As of now, the total costs is a little bit more than $3600:

To this day, this amount is way beyond my current means, hence the reason why I’m asking for help from my community.

My friend created this GoFundMe page to help reduce the crazy costs of this journey. Anything would help me reach my goal and bring Bunny safely to Paris with me. For you, it might just be $1, $2, or $3, but to me, it takes a huge weight off my shoulders!
