Hi everyone,

Many of you already know and love Bunker, and it’s been incredibly hard watching him go through so much medically over the past few years.

For over two years, Bunker has been battling chronic IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) and possible lymphoma scares, which has meant ongoing treatments, medications, and many unexpected vet visits along the way.

Recently things became even more serious when Bunker developed severe eye complications that required two emergency eye surgeries. He ultimately lost one of his eyes, and we’re now doing everything possible to protect and save his remaining eye.

Of course I made the decision to get him the care he needed right away - including a last minute trip to Calgary to get an emergency conjuctivial graft to save the remaining eye - but the costs have added up quickly. Between the surgeries, diagnostics, medications, and the ongoing care for his IBD, the veterinary bills have become overwhelming.

My workplace has given me a deadline of 90 days to pay off the balance, and as some of you know, my financial situation is already very strained. Because of this, the timeline to pay his bill is far more than I can realistically manage on my own.

Bunker isn’t just a pet — he’s my best friend and my baby. Anyone who has met him knows how special he is, and through everything he’s still the same sweet, loving little fighter.
