Texas Floods: Help Bumble Bee Hills Neighborhood
Donation protected
I grew up in the Bumble Bee Hills neighborhood, and my mom, sisters, and grandparents still call it home. The Bumble Bee Hills neighborhood was devastated by the catastrophic flash flooding that struck the Kerrville, Hunt, and Ingram areas on July 4th.
This historic flood affected most of the neighborhood’s homes. 28 homes in the neighborhood were flooded, with some taking on up to 8 feet of water. The damage has been overwhelming - many of my family’s neighbors lost everything inside their homes, while the shared community infrastructure that I remember from my childhood, including neighborhood fences and riverfront common areas, sustained significant damage. Many cars in the neighborhood washed away to a different part of the neighborhood and may need replacement.

Funds raised through this campaign will be used to repair and restore the neighborhood fences and clear and repair the riverfront common areas that have always been the heart of our community. After repairing neighborhood infrastructure, the remaining funds will be distributed to the affected property owners, some of whom face the heartbreaking reality of needing to replace most of their belongings.
Please pitch in to help the neighbors of Bumble Bee Hills.
