My friend's name is Gabriel Jimenez he is from my home town of Leon, Guanajuato, México.
He lived and worked in Canada for a few years, first in vancouver, then in Calgary, and he fell in love with the country. Unfortunately, he could not stay due to how hard it is for Mexicans to get a permanent residence in Canada.
Few days ago they got devastating news about his father's health . He started feeling a strange stomach pain about 2 months ago and they thought it was because of the stress caused by covid19 and staying home for too long. Not feeling any better they decided to go to the doctor, where they were told to get a tomography and blood studies. There, they couldn't do the biopsy of the pancreas because they found a big tumor and there was not enough space to do the biopsy at that moment.
That's when they were told about the pancreatic cancer. His mother beated breast cancer 10 years ago, and this time cancer has struck his father. As you know pancreatic cancer is very aggressive, and the survival rate is very low. My friend and his family have no money to pay for the surgeries, treatment, medicine and all bills to come, so any donations will be greatly appreciated.
