Hello potential donors!

My name is Itangishatse Bujeni and the pursuit of higher education has proven to be one of the biggest challenges of my early 20s. I jumped at the opportunity of a collegiate education because I am not naive to the privilege of even considering it. I have always strived for more education, in part because I love it and find great promise in it, and in part as a promise to my family who stepped into this country with a dream for more. I come from a first-generation immigrant family; we don't have prior knowledge to rely on when navigating this country. Be that as it may, we have never been afraid of working hard to, for lack of better wording, “catch up.” It has proven to be very difficult to keep up with finances as I pursue my education. I have already taken time off to work and save money; I've done what I can with the variables I can control. I am now seeking to continue my education as a requirement of my chosen field. Legislation passed recently, along with an inauspicious job market and an unfortunate, yet familiar stack of bills, is making education seem impossible.
