We would like to ask for any help that is available to be able to bring a much needed new restaurant to our small town.
We started with a food cart. A big red box named Toothsome, in the parking lot of Lock 19. The food was great! For being open a short period of time, we got great feedback and got excited to serve the town. Seeing a larger need for a more stable restaurant we started to put our efforts into refinishing the old gas station building. With rising costs across the board and being faced with hurdles we weren't aware of, we're asking for some help to finish the building.

We have specials like homemade meatball subs or sausage and pepper subs.
We have more things we would like to offer....but that comes with time.
Did we mention we'd like to have a fresh fruit/veg section and takeaway food from the fridge?!
We love food and are excited to serve the community!
Not just for locals - Nauvoo sees tens of thousands of visitors during the summer and is in desperate need of more places to eat and get out of the heat. For all those who visit our town and have wished for more food options, this is a chance to make it happen. Spread the word and let’s get this going. Update!!!!!
I hate to be the bearer of news but... There have been many hurdles to get this place up and running! It will happen! But not as soon as we hoped. We have decided to put our efforts towards fixing the building since no clear solution has worked for getting a food service station outside ready for pageant. It may be 2024 before we get it opened. Keep following for updates! We appreciate your continued support!
