Help building a home in Honduras

Hi everyone! My name is Yeny Perno and I am fundraising for my mom. I am the only one of 9 that came to the states from Honduras more than 24 years ago. I send money to my family monthly, which has been able to help with groceries, clothing, rent, as well as sending 2 of my siblings and one of my nieces through high school. Education beyond 6th grade is very expensive in Honduras. My father was a Pastor for almost 25 years. His preaching took him to several different communities over the years and the church he worked for provided housing for him and my mom. My father also worked at a coffee plantation on his days off from the church, which was several hours away, just to make ends meet. Unfortunately, my father recently passed away from COVID-19. My dad was an amazing man and loved by all. Many members of his church told my mom at his funeral how much he had helped them in their lives and how grateful they were for him. My father was very ill for many days before he was able to get a bed at a hospital. In Honduras, it is very difficult to get medical help or a bed in a hospital, it is also very expensive to receive treatment. Once he was in the hospital, he still wasn't able to get the medication he needed for over a week, which led to his passing. Due to these tragic circumstances, my mom can no longer live in the housing provided by the church, she has to move at the end of November. Therefore, I am raising money to help my family build my mom a small, one-bedroom casita. Any assistance provided will be gratefully appreciated.
