Hello, my name is William Boakye. I am raising funds to support the launch and development of the WILTOM Technical & Vocational Institute (WTVI) in Ghana.

Since 2008, I have been involved in community support work through FightAIDS Ghana, helping vulnerable people such as orphans, widows, and families in need. Over the years, I supported children to attend different schools, but I realized something important: many young people still cannot access practical skills training that leads directly to jobs.

That is why we are building WTVI — a vocational and technical school focused on hands-on training, employable skills, entrepreneurship, and real career pathways. Our aim is to help students become independent and support their families and communities.

We are preparing to begin training soon, using a temporary arrangement while our permanent campus in Dodowa, Ghana is developed.

How your donation will be used (transparent priorities):

Workshop tools and equipment (technical & vocational training)

Computers, ICT equipment, and learning materials

Classroom/workshop setup and essential renovations

Safety equipment and basic facility needs

Support for needy students (partial scholarships, materials)

Logistics and local project coordination (with receipts and updates)

Hallo, mein Name ist William Boakye. Ich sammle Spenden, um den Start und Aufbau des WILTOM Technical & Vocational Institute (WTVI) in Ghana zu unterstützen.

Seit 2008 engagiere ich mich über FightAIDS Ghana für Menschen in Not, insbesondere Waisen, Witwen und bedürftige Familien. Ich habe über die Jahre Kinder beim Schulbesuch unterstützt, aber ich habe erkannt: Viele Jugendliche haben weiterhin keinen Zugang zu praxisnaher Ausbildung, die direkt zu Arbeit und Einkommen führt.

Deshalb bauen wir das WTVI — eine Berufs- und Technikschule mit Fokus auf praktische Ausbildung, beschäftigungsrelevante Fähigkeiten, Unternehmertum und echte Zukunftsperspektiven. Unser Ziel ist, Jugendlichen zu helfen, unabhängig zu werden und ihre Familien sowie Gemeinden zu stärken.

Wir bereiten den baldigen Start vor (zunächst in einer Übergangslösung), während der dauerhafte Campus in Dodowa, Ghana entwickelt wird.
