To our friends and family; to our former Nighthawk Brewery die-hards and new Colorado neighbors; to the future backbone, foundation, and life-blood of Water Well Brewing Company – we come to ask you a favor.
We are a team put together by Shawn Murray (who many of you know as the former GM of Nighthawk Brewery) and his fiance Abby Jeffers. We are embarking on the adventure of opening a brewery/restaurant/arcade which we hope will become all of your favorite spot for drinks, food, and family-oriented fun. We have worked tirelessly for more than a year to bring this dream to life, and at this point we find ourselves closer than ever to opening Water Well Brewing Company.
We have secured $425,000 cash from private investors here in Colorado. We have a lending institution financing about $190,000 worth of equipment costs. We have signed a Letter of Intent to move into the 10,270 sq. ft. space of the former Fox and the Hound at 120th and Sheridan in Westminster. With all of this, we remain about $75,000 shy of the amount we predict we need for our first three months of working capital, which is a crucial cushion for a new business upon opening. This means that we ARE on track to open Water Well, but we are turning to our community for help to ensure that we can survive those first few months while we are growing into what we know we have the potential to become.
Water Well will offer a strong core of flagship beers and rotating taps; a modern yet comforting food menu offering lunch, dinner, happy hours, and weekend brunch; and a huge game room featuring dozens of pinball and arcade games, billiards, multi-player console games, and much more. By helping us raise the remaining funds, you will become an integral part of this new brewing company that we know will bring joy and create lasting relationships for years to come. Plus, Abby will personally hand-paint your name on the walls of our entry-way so every person who walks in our doors will know who to thank for building Water Well!
