SHELTER EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER

Kindred supporters, we need your help more than ever right now!

With the arrival of unprecedented torrential rainfall and flooding here in the Northern Rivers of Australia, our sheep family have had wet feet for months. This weather has been very hard on them and we desperately need to dry out their feet to prevent further illness and injury. 

Unfortunately, severe rain is forecast to continue, so we need to come up with a solution for them fast.

To provide our sheep family with ample space and shelter for weather like this, we need an additional simple barn with a slatted floor built. This design allows good air circulation around their feet and gives them a rest from standing continuously on the wet ground.

We have a design that is working successfully for our goat family, and we need to recreate this for the sheep.

We have the tools and the people power to make this a reality, we just need help to raise the funds for the materials.

With so many impacted by the floods, it’s difficult asking for help, but it’s our duty to provide everyone here with the best care possible, and right now they are struggling
