Help Aaron: Rebuilding The Wash Tub in Hot Springs, NC

Donation protected
My name is Kevin Reese, a sixth-generation native to Hot Springs, NC. I serve as an advisor for the Rebuild Hot Springs Area 501(c)(3) nonprofit and I am volunteering my time to help a man who is a staple in our community.

Aaron Gosnell is a cornerstone of Hot Springs, NC. For nearly a decade, he has run Tobacco Road, a beloved space for locals and travelers alike. He was in the midst of creating a much-needed laundromat for our community when disaster struck. Devastating floodwaters brought from Hurricane Helene destroyed months of hard work and tens of thousands of dollars in materials.

Despite the setback, Aaron is determined to rebuild. His vision includes a laundromat for residents, Appalachian thru-hikers, and visitors to Hot Springs. The space will also include outdoor gear and even showers for those passing through. Progress has been made, but there’s still a long way to go.

With your support, we can make this happen! Every donation helps rebuild not just a business, but a piece of our community. 100% of funds raised will be used directly for purchasing building materials and equipment for The Wash Tub.

Join us in making Aaron's dream a reality and providing a vital service to a disaster-stricken community. Donate today!
