An emerging visual artist, I’ve been working in public art since 2014, assisting other artists in producing their large-scale public artworks. After many, many, many proposal submissions over the years, I had a project proposal accepted for exhibit at ArtFields (which has been called the top opportunity for emerging artists). It has taken over $15,000 to produce, exhibit and move around so far, which has been self funded and crowd-funded. I am seeking some grant funding, and I am asking all of you art lovers and supporters out there for your help in raising money to fund this project. There is still a lot of work to do! This piece went from South Carolina to Knoxville Tennessee, where it won 2nd place in the Dogwood regional art exhibition. It won the people’s choice award from crochet guild of America in the artistic expression category and will be on display in the next two issues of Fiber Art Now (magazine). We’ve been blessed with a temporary pop up gallery and studio storefront space at the new underground Atlanta, above the banksy exhibit. Come and see what your support can do!
