Hello, thanks for your time and interest. My name is Simon Siddol.
I'm a life-long musician, truth-seeker, educator, devotee of the spirit and all-round iconoclast. For the past twenty-five years I've been using consciousness-raising techniques and shamanic tricks in my 1-on-1 music teaching, helping musicians leverage their humanity, physiology and psychology in the pursuit of their art.
Now, after much deep thought and investigation, and many epiphanies, I have come to realize not just WHY but HOW western music has been hijacked, corrupted and controlled by forces and groups determined to impose their will on both society and the individuals within it. It's been a long and dark journey, but one I consider entirely worthwhile for the gifts that I can now bring back to the world.
I have set myself a mission: to awaken as many musicians as possible to the psychic and cultural effects of their music, to lift the veil on the manner by which their creativity is limited, steered, corrupted and yoked to an agenda few suspect and even fewer would support, given their conscious choice.
My goal is to wrest the magical potential of my culture's music back out of the hands of the 'black magicians', and restore it into the care of those who would use it with love, compassion and thought for it's original purpose: the healthy stewardship of our culture's psyche. In a phrase, I wish to turn musicians back into the responsible shamen they originally were, for the sake of all of us in these truly crazy times.
To do this effectively I need a website, which, due to the corona virus lock-down destroying my peripatetic teaching business, I find myself unable to fund personally. And so here I am reaching out to you!
For this somewhat complex website I have been quoted prices in the region of £1200 - £1500. Any funds raised in excess of the cost of the website will go directly into it's upkeep, and into the production of classes for the website.
As the first batch of education products I've developed for the website are nearing completion, the sooner I can get this website up, the better.
Those of you contributing £25 or more will receive:
Membership to the school's first program for music listeners - "Poisonous Music: How To Spot It And Neutralize It, For Your Own Benefit And The Good Of All", which comprises an interactive PDF course and access to an online forum of fellow students.
Those of you contributing £100 or more will receive: The course described above PLUS a 60 minute 1-on-1 Skype consultation with me, Simon Siddol, to tackle any subject of your choosing pertaining to that interface between Music/Consciousness/Education.
Those of you contributing £250 or more will receive: All of the above PLUS membership to the school's first program for musicians (working title: "Conscious Musicianship 101" ) which will be an online interactive course with a degree of personal mentoring, running for 10 weeks. The course aims to re-educate musicians into a deeper and wider world of physiological, emotional and psychic considerations within their musical practice, to provide a basic grounding that will prepare a musician for their shamanic journey into wholeness and consciousness.
Obviously, there will be some delay between realizing the funds and getting the website and it's courses fully up and running, but those contributing through gofundme.com will be the first in line to receive these courses once ready.
