THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️
The outpouring of support for Stef has been overwhelming. For her, for her family, for everyone around her. If she could thank you all personally she would. ❤️❤️
Over $50,000 was raised and that doesn’t include the countless offers to help with materials or labour, among other things. Wow.
On behalf of Stef, I say again, thank you. Each and everyone of you who shared or donated was a huge part of making this dream a reality. We are truly blessed.
Praise be to God❤️

Friends!! Help us Help Stef and her Family!!!
If you don't already know who this amazing gal is, let me introduce you to my dear cousin and friend.
Stephanie Gansekoele is 30 years old and lives near Barrhead Alberta. On November 19, 2010, her life was turned upside down. The vehicle she was driving was struck by a semi on her way to work. Due to the severity of the accident combined with the bitter cold, Stef lost so very much that day. She was transported by STARS air ambulance, and she would lose both her legs and several fingers in the following weeks. She also suffered a life-changing brain injury. Once it became evident that Stef would indeed survive, the doctors warned that Stef would likely never walk or talk again.
But God had other plans.
Today Stef not only walks and talks, but she lives on her own! She is a walking miracle.
Stef has overcome so much, and has pushed herself to do the seemingly impossible, shocking not only those who knew her, but the medical team and all those who learned of her story. Despite her limitations and challenges, Stef has pressed on and persevered, and never EVER lost hope. She has a beautiful perspective on life, has an incredible sense of humour, and is such an inspiration. Despite everything she lost, she will tell you that "God knew what he was doing" and she continues to trust Him for her future.
For the past 7 years, Stef has been living just outside of town. In her little apartment, Stef has made incredible progress and has gained much independence; all with her biggest support system right next door. However, Stef has, in the last few years, felt increasingly restricted, stuck, being out in the country. For someone with her drive, her strength and determination, her potential, this is an incredible opportunity to give her a better life!
After much consideration of Stefs future and potential, it was decided by her and her family that the best chance for to continue making progress and be even more amazing than she already is, would be to move her to town! Being surrounded by gravel roads and restricted by her need for a wheelchair, Stef has been unable to get places on her own. Having a wheelchair accessible home in town would increase her ability to get around on her own and be more independent.
Because of the need for wheelchair accessibility and modifications to simplify Stef’s life, this must be a custom built home. There is no government funding for a home like this and it’s all coming out of the family’s pocket! Please help us lessen this financial burden for them ❤️
Stef has been faced with so many trials in her life, and those closest to her; namely her mom Regina and Regina's husband Harold, have sacrificed so much for her. SO VERY MUCH! Let's step up, and help them make this opportunity for Stef a reality! (They have already broken ground!!! YAY!!!)
Friends, lets be a blessing to this AMAZING family and GET THIS HOUSE BUILT!! LETS GET STEF ROLLING AGAIN!!! Stef has been a blessing to so many. Has touched so many lives. Has overcome so much. Has suffered much without complaining; without living as a victim. Lets be a blessing to her!!
