I believe that the human connection to nature is extremely important, and I want to help my school experience that connection in a meaningful way. For my Blue Ridge Virginia Governors School senior capstone project, I completed an architectural and construction internship, which inspired me to design an outdoor classroom for my high school. This space will give students and teachers a unique place to learn, collaborate, and enjoy the outdoors together.
To make this vision a reality, I am raising funds to cover the costs of materials and construction. Every dollar will go directly toward building the outdoor classroom, ensuring it is a lasting resource for our school community. I am passionate about creating a space that brings people closer to nature and supports hands-on learning for years to come.
I would be so grateful for your support—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser with others who care about education and the environment. Together, we can build something special that will benefit students now and in the future.
In the event that the classroom is not built the funds raised will be given to the newly established nature-connection club, and used to support future outdoor projects.
