Help Build Our Veterinary Clinic for Animals

Donation protected
Beautiful animals in Vanuatu…. a small South Pacific country with lovely communities whom are generous but not wealthy. Our communities try their best to provide for their companion animals but there are so many competing priorities like providing nutrition for the family, sending children to school, finding employment whilst living in a country highly vulnerable to a range of natural disasters, including cyclones, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes.

Our small team of volunteers are raising funds on behalf of Animals Vanuatu Association (AVA) a grassroots community animal veterinary clinic, to care for injured, abandoned, and ill animals. We also run sterilisation projects, including pop up clinics in remote areas. We have no paid staff…everything we do is achieved with the kindness of volunteers including vet surgeons from Australia and New Zealand, who come over to help us.

Months ago, we had a dream … to build a small humble veterinary clinic—a vital resource for animals in one of the most impoverished and underserved areas. A department within the Vanuatu Government, shared our vision and provided us with space from which to work. We took a derelict building and transformed it into a basic functional clinic. Over the last year, we have sterilised and treated over 350 animals. Over the months we have had help from generous individuals, business owners and other animal welfare groups, to equip our clinic with basic equipment so that we can safely perform surgeries.

Now, we have a rare opportunity: a local private clinic is offering surplus key veterinary equipment at a fraction of what it would normally cost—but only for a short time. If we can raise $10,000 quickly, we can secure:

* A portable ultrasound machine
* IV pumps
* Surgical lights and monitoring systems
* Sterilization and diagnostic tools
* Proper surgical operating tables
* Proper stainless steel cages for recuperating animals
* Microscope for detecting heartworm
* Oxygen generators for running our anaesthetic machine
and more…

This is an opportunity we will never have again. All this surplus equipment is already in the country, saving us import duties and shipping.

This will allow us to equip our clinic to take us into the future and have the right facilities for the wonderful overseas volunteer vets who join us.

️ Donor Recognition – Be Part of the Clinic Forever
As a thank-you to our most generous supporters, we will include a name plaque wall inside the new clinic, honoring those who helped make this dream possible:
* $500+ donors: Your name or organization will appear on our Founders Wall
* $1,000+ donors: A custom paver with your name or organisation will be made forming part of our new entrance.
Every contribution—no matter the size—brings us closer to creating a safer, healthier future for animals in desperate need. And if you can’t donate at this time, please consider sharing our campaign to help us spread the word.
Let’s turn compassion into a veterinary home full of promise.
Thank you for being part of this amazing gift to animals.
