Help Build Our Comedy Studio Dream

Hi friends,

Over the past three years, a passionate and growing community has formed around The Shared Experience Studio. A comedy theater and school with a vision: to create a space that centers performers, supports students with real mentorship, and celebrates all styles of live comedy.

After our experience performing and teaching at comedy institutions, we realized the model needed to evolve. So we built something different. A comedy think tank of ideas where creativity, risk-taking, and connection thrive. It’s become a home for so many talented artists, teachers, and comedy lovers.

But now, we need your help.

Our current space at The Yard, a nonprofit theater, is closing its doors. That means our community of students, performers, collaborators will soon be without a home. The heart of our mission is stronger than ever, and we’re ready to grow into a space of our own. We have everything we need to launch a full-time theater and school: a proven curriculum, an incredible lineup of performers, and a track record of building something special. What we don’t have yet is a space we can transform into a vibrant live comedy hub: a stage, lighting, sound equipment, seating, basic renovations, and a bit of breathing room as we open our doors.

That’s where you come in.

Our goal is to raise at least $25,000 to bring this vision to life. Not just for us, but for every student who discovers their instrument onstage, every performer who needs a place to experiment, and every audience member who wants to laugh and connect.
