Hello! My name is Amanda Cuney Lopez. I was born and raised in New Paltz, and am now raising my two girls here! As a local business owner and the founder of Soul Tribe, a group fitness studio that has already brought so many people in our community together, I’ve seen firsthand the power of creating spaces where people can connect and support one another.

I’m now working on my next project: My Little Village—an indoor play space designed especially for preschool-aged children and their caregivers. More than just a play space, My Little Village is about community building. It’s a place where kids can play safely indoors, and where parents and caregivers can connect, share, and feel less alone in the journey of raising children.

Another exciting element of My Little Village is creating flexible jobs for stay at home parents. Short shifts that allow parents to bring their children with them, giving them the opportunity to have their child play for free and bring in some extra cash to help their families.

Think play time, workshops, birthday parties, art events, all geared toward families and community building.

I’m raising funds to help bring this vision to life—to create a welcoming, safe, and fun environment that gives families in New Paltz and beyond a place to gather, grow, and build lasting connections.
