Heal a Dog, Heal a Life: Building a New Kind of Rescue in Baie Sainte Anne  New Brunswick
Dogs, Not Drugs:  A Unique Rescue & Rehabilitation Sanctuary Hello, fellow dog lovers! My name is Anello DeNicola. I am reaching out to ask for your support in building a whole new kind of dog rescue and rehabilitation sanctuary in Baie Sainte Anne, New Brunswick.

I am proud to share that the land—33.5 acres of beautiful property—is fully paid for and ready to go. Now, we need your help to begin the construction phase.
I plan to create a new approach to “rescues”in our design and development of the space from traditional shelters often feel more like dog prisons than safe, welcoming environments.
Dogs that stay too long in high-stress noisy environments frequently lose hope and trust in humanity when they are passed over time and time again.

Our facility will be designed to break that cycle. We are building a peaceful, open sanctuary where dogs receive the time, space, and care they need to decompress, heal, and learn to trust again.

In the future, we plan to launch a groundbreaking community initiative: Dogs, Not Drugs! Will be part of the recovery process from addiction. It is about more than breaking a cycle—it’s about finding purpose, rebuilding confidence, in both dog and human, creating meaningful connections.
Many people struggling with addiction are trying to fill a painful emotional void. At the same time, countlessly neglected or abandoned rescue dogs need someone to believe in them.
Dogs, Not Drugs brings the two together: in a. Mutual Rehabilitation. Participants in recovery are paired with rescue dogs that require patience, structure, and compassion.

As participants help a frightened animal rebuild its joy and confidence, they regain their own self-worth, routine, and empathy. Transforming Lives: The dog becomes socialized and ready for a loving forever home, while the human participant builds a stronger foundation for long-term recovery. There is no better high than the unconditional love and trust of a dog. Heal a dog. Heal a life. Why We Need Your Help Today We are starting this project with a smart, proactive approach—focusing heavily on thorough planning now to minimize unnecessary costs down the line. Your donation directly funds the initial phase of construction: clearing the site, building safe outdoor enclosures, laying the foundation for our shelter structures, and acquiring essential utilities.
Every single dollar thay you contribute, goes straight into turning these 33.5 acres into a sanctuary of second chances for the dogs and their future families.

How You Can Help:
1. Donate: Any amount, big or small, gets a shovel in the ground faster.

2. Please share this campaign with fellow dog lovers, recovery allies, and doggo  communities, everywhere.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
