About Our Ministry

My name is Gabriel, and I serve as the leader and president of Kanlungan Youth Mission Church Incorporated., officially registered with the SEC

Our ministry was built from a simple but deeply personal calling: to create a spiritual home where young people and families can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and belong to a loving church family.

For the past 3–4 years our congregation has been gathering in our small house in the Philippines.

Even in that limited space, we have seen God move as more young people, children, and families joined us in worship, prayer, discipleship, and fellowship. What began in a humble home has become a growing community of faith with a clear vision for the future.

Our vision is to become a dream home for this generation — a place filled with the love of Jesus and a family they can call on. Our mission is to provide rest for the lost, the orphans, and the stranger by leading people into a real and life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ. This mission shapes everything we do: youth discipleship, worship gatherings, community outreach, feeding programs for children, children’s festivals , and mission work in distant communities.

At the heart of Kanlungan Youth Mission Church is a desire to raise a generation that knows Christ, serves others, and finds lasting hope in Him. As our ministry continues to grow, we are praying for a permanent place where this vision can flourish more fully and where more lives can be reached for God’s glory.

My Journey

For the last three years, I have been working in aviation at London Stansted Airport as an aircraft mechanic. I took this job to support my family and to help fund our pioneering ministry back home.

Through this work, I was able to purchase land for our future church building. However, the cost of construction is far beyond what I can sustain alone, especially while living away from my family and congregation.

Over time, it has become clear that my presence as a full-time pastor is now more needed than the financial support I can send from abroad. Our young people need consistent leadership and guidance — something I cannot fully provide while working overseas.

Most of our members are young people and children who are still establishing their lives. They give faithfully, but they cannot carry the financial burden of building a church.

Why We Are Raising Funds

We are raising £50,000 to build a simple but permanent church structure that will serve as:

• A safe place for worship and teaching

• A centre for youth ministry and discipleship

• A venue for feeding programs and children’s activities

• A stable home for our growing congregation

This building will allow us to expand our outreach, strengthen our programs, and provide a proper environment for young people and families to grow spiritually.

How Funds Will Be Managed

Because I currently live in the United Kingdom, GoFundMe requires that all donations be withdrawn to my UK bank account. From there, I will send 100% of the funds to the Philippines through secure transfer methods such as Wise or Remitly.

I will provide updates, photos, receipts, and construction progress reports. Transparency and accountability are priorities for me and for our church.
