Help build Jalen a home to come home to!

On October 12, my nephew, Jalen Bush, was on his way to school when he was involved in a head-on collision that left him paralyzed from the middle of his abdomen, down. He is currently in a rehabilitation hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska where he will be for the next few months completing the rehabilitation process and adjusting to his new life with a wheelchair. 

Jalen lives with my parents, Gary & Cindi Bryan, in a small two-bedroom trailer home that is not wheelchair accessible. Their home would be extremely difficult to remodel to fit Jalen's new needs. I would like to build him a metal building style home that will accommodate his needs moving forward. I have been busy gathering help, some materials and land to build on. Through great generosity, I have been able to get most (if not all) of the labor donated, and Jalen has been given lots in Tyro to build on. My parents will be staying with him in the new home for as long as he needs their support, but when he is ready, this will be Jalen's home. This home will allow him to have plenty of friends and family nearby as well as the great outdoors that he loves!

If you do not feel comfortable giving via this method, contact me (Nick) and I will provide you the information of the bank account we have set up for cash or check donations. That is the same account the funds raised here will be deposited. If we should not raise enough funds to complete the project, we will use the funds to accommodate his needs elsewhere. I will continue to keep this page updated on the project as we go along. 

We would like to thank everyone for all the kindness, support and generosity that has been shown for Jalen and our family. We are truly in awe and look forward to making this a wonderful home for Jalen!
