Update & Continued Need!
2026 is a Year of Growth!!
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we have already seen meaningful progress. Church attendance has increased significantly, and a side panel has been purchased, helping protect part of the structure from the elements. We also purchased a new keyboard! These improvements have encouraged even more people—families, children, and orphans—to gather for worship, fellowship, and support.
However, with this growth comes new and urgent needs.
The church floor is still muddy ground, making it difficult and uncomfortable for the growing congregation to sit and gather, especially during rainy seasons. The walls and roof remain vulnerable to heavy rains, and seating is extremely limited for the increasing population. Proper flooring and durable seating are now essential to safely accommodate the rising attendance. In addition, improved lighting is needed to allow evening services and community gatherings to continue.
With YOUR continued support, we hope to:
Install solid flooring
Reinforce the walls and roof
Provide proper seating for the growing congregation
Improve lighting inside the church
And, if funds allow, add musical instruments to enrich worship and community events
These improvements go far beyond repairing a building. This church supports the local community and the many orphans who rely on Pastor Lukwago and the church for hope, stability, and refuge. In a place where government assistance and NGOs are often unavailable, this church stands as a true beacon of light.
Every donation—no matter the size—helps build a stronger, safer, and more self-reliant community. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping this growing congregation continue to thrive.
Pastor Lukwago has dedicated his life to serving his church community in Uganda, consistently putting the needs of others before his own. Despite having a wife, children, and no personal vehicle, he pours his time, energy, and limited resources into building a place of worship and refuge for those in need. I have personally supported Pastor Lukwago throughout his ministry studies, which he will complete next year, and I have witnessed firsthand the powerful impact his work continues to have on the community.
