I’m the creator of Homestead, a self-hosted platform being built to bring movies, TV, music, books, audiobooks, and household tools together in one place—on your own server, under your control.

Homestead’s core experience will remain free. The goal is to give people more freedom to organize and enjoy their digital lives, with flexible libraries, personal collections, and room to grow.

I’m raising $5,000 to support development time and testing hardware, including additional RAM for the development server. Your support will help me dedicate more time to building features, fixing issues, and improving the experience.

Homestead already has a working development build, but there is still plenty of work ahead. Some features are incomplete or planned, and features, pricing, and release plans may change.
