Goldie was just 6 weeks old when her life changed forever due to a human-inflicted injury that left her paralyzed. She came into our care about five weeks after the injury, and we did everything possible — therapies, treatments, and veterinary care — hoping she might walk again. Sadly, doctors have now confirmed that she will never regain the use of her back legs.
Rescuing Goldie was unexpected, but we are forever grateful that our paths crossed when they did. She escaped a horrific situation and now knows what love and safety feel like.
Goldie is growing quickly and needs a permanent, accessible living space of her own. Right now, she spends her days outside in a small playpen near the other goats and her nights inside our basement in another playpen. She desperately wants to be with the herd full-time, but their current goat house is too small to safely add a space just for her.
We are starting this fundraiser to build Goldie a small, wheelchair-friendly barn so she can:
Live alongside the other goats 24/7
Safely use her wheelchair with more space and freedom
Have a clean, comfortable, and permanent shelter
Finally enjoy the life she deserves
This new shelter will give Goldie the chance to live out her days surrounded by her goat family — where she truly belongs.
After everything she has endured, Goldie deserves peace, comfort, and love. Any donation, share, or kind word helps us get one step closer to giving her the forever home she so deeply deserves.
Thank you for helping us give Goldie a future filled with dignity and happiness.
