Let’s Make History, One Skate at a Time

We believe in creative empowerment, cultural exchange, and community joy. Through the art of skating, help us empower youth and adult talented skaters a chance to roll forward with purpose, power, and pride.

We’re raising funds to launch the OHGHAD Skate Development Project (Ghana Amusement Development)—an exciting skating development and empowerment hub in Ghana.

This is more than a skate rink—it's a movement to inspire, uplift, and empower youth and adults through various skating, music, mental health support, and cultural expression.

This project is part of our partner of the Africa on Wheelz initiative – a touring empowerment movement led by global skater influencers and cultural ambassadors. Our mission is to bring excitement, mentorship, and new opportunities through all forms of skating, art, and cultural exchange.

Why Ghana? Why Skating?

Every form of skating is more than a sport—it’s a culture, a community, and a transformative outlet for mental health, discipline, and creativity. In Ghana, there's a growing passion for skating, but little access to safe skate parks/rinks, gear, or training.

In addition, there are ample opportunities for global skate enthusiasts to help develop what you love to do in the Motherland too!

Why It Matters

Ghana currently does not have many dedicated skating arenas for consistent youth access.

Youth and Adults in underserved areas lack creative outlets and stress relief programs.

Roller skating promotes confidence, leadership, teamwork, and joy.

Our skaters also serve as mentors and mental health advocates.

The OHGHAD Skate Development project is designed to change that—with a skate hub, training workshops, mentorship programs, and healing arts activities for youth and adults across Ghana. With your support, we can turn empty land into a vibrant skate and creative oasis.

Funds Will Support:

Building Ghana’s first semi-professional skate hub for indoor and outdoor skating
Creative and mental wellness workshops
Training programs led by international and local skaters
Performance stage for skater artists and cultural showcases
Youth tour participation from underserved communities
Equipment, safety gear, and repairs
Access to water, rest zones, and sanitary needs on-site

In 2026, The Tour Africa Network is launching the Skate Empowerment Tour: Africa on Wheelz, where travelers and influencers from around the world will visit Ghana to skate, teach, and connect with the community.
