Hi I am a customer of Esther's and I'm helping her raise money for her small business. For over 25 years, Esther has poured her heart into every pot of soup and dish she’s served, building not just a business but a beloved community fixture at Bloor and Yonge in downtown Toronto. Her cooking has brought comfort to thousands — hearty, homemade meals that taste like home, made by someone who treats every customer like family. Esther is one of the hardest-working people you’ll ever meet, and her loyal customers return week after week not just for her delicious food, but for the warmth and kindness she brings to her work. Sadly, she’s now being forced to vacate her premises with less than two months' notice — a heartbreaking situation made worse by the soaring cost of rent in downtown Toronto. Finding an affordable space, let alone building a new kitchen from scratch, is nearly impossible without help. Losing Esther’s kitchen would be a tremendous loss not just to her, but to the many who rely on her food, her presence, and the special role she plays in this community.
