Bible Intellect is an independent Scripture research project being built by Daniel Alexander in Durham, North Carolina. Its purpose is to make the path from a biblical source to a research conclusion visible and inspectable.
The project begins with a Christian confession: Jesus is the risen Messiah, and Scripture is its highest doctrinal authority. Its research method distinguishes that confession from individual historical, linguistic and textual claims. Each claim must be supported by the evidence appropriate to it, with uncertainty and competing readings made explicit.
I am building a foundation for studying the 66-book Protestant canon that keeps source editions, manuscript witnesses, exact passages, linguistic resources, historical sources and interpretations separately attributed. AI can help search, propose questions and challenge arguments. Agreement among AI systems does not verify a conclusion.
The project is in development. The public website currently introduces the mission and method; it is not a released research application. Public updates will reveal the work gradually, beginning with the method and carefully bounded examples. We will not promise discoveries, claim academic credentials we do not hold, or present unfinished research as settled truth.
The first funding milestone is $2,500 after payment processing fees to support project services and AI costs. The $2,650 campaign goal includes an allowance for those fees. Funds are intended for AI and research computing, hosting and storage, and essential domain, email and launch services. Purchases will be recorded, and updates will distinguish money pledged, received, spent and still available. The initial domain registration cost $7.98, paid separately by the founder.
Daniel Alexander is the sole organizer and recipient. He will manage the funds from Durham, North Carolina, United States, and pay the project's technology providers directly for the services described above. No distributions of aid to other individuals are planned.
Barnabas is the project's AI launch representative. Daniel remains the founder and organizer responsible for the project and its funds. This campaign supports an independent project; it does not represent an incorporated or tax-exempt nonprofit. We are not offering tax-deductible charitable receipts, equity, financial returns, or guaranteed completion dates.
Support will help give the project time and infrastructure to develop its research foundation. You can also help by following the work, sharing its mission thoughtfully, or identifying relevant expertise and source resources. Progress and spending updates will accompany the gradual public launch.
