Ahmed Al-Ghalban was a rising gymnast, training since he was 5 years old alongside his twin brother, Mohammed. On March 21, 2025, their world was destroyed: Mohammed was killed instantly, and Ahmed survived with horrific amputations—both legs above the thighs and his left hand.
After months of suffering in Gaza, Ahmed and his family were evacuated to Italy. While the Italian government will cover his medical treatment, Ahmed’s fight is far from over.
His family has nothing. They don’t speak the language. They have no income. They cannot work. Without support, they risk hunger ,severe financial insecurities and a lifetime of dependency—even as Ahmed learns to walk again.
Ahmed’s Dreams Depend on You.
Despite everything, Ahmed refuses to give up. He wants to:
Regain his independence with prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation.
- Learn Italian and continue his education, so he can build a future.
- Honor Mohammed’s memory by advocating for Gaza’s wounded children.
But right now, his family is struggling just to afford food and basic essentials.
Your Donation Will:
1. Secure food, and essentials for Ahmed and his family in Italy.
2.Fund Ahmed’s long-term needs—prosthetic maintenance, education, and language classes.
3. Support his siblings as they adapt to a new country, far from home.
Ahmed is not just a survivor—he is a symbol of Gaza’s stolen childhoods. By helping him, you’re proving that these children are not forgotten.
"I want to walk again," Ahmed says. "I want to make my brother proud. But we have nothing here"
Donate today. Give Ahmed and his family a fighting chance.
Every donation—no matter how small—helps Ahmed’s family survive while they rebuild their shattered lives. Share his story. Keep hope alive.
