I am Selorm Magnus Avakame, a Stanford University Computer Science student from Accra, Ghana, and the Founder of Katalyze Africa Inc., an early-stage accelerator built to fund and support African student founders solving African problems.
Across Africa, thousands of brilliant students have the talent, ambition, and ideas to solve real problems. What many lack is access to mentors, networks, and opportunities that help them take the next step.
Katalyze Africa is building a digital platform that connects African students to African US college mentors and African startups to mentorship opportunities and funding.
THE PROJECT
We are building a digital ecosystem that connects Africa's brightest students, innovators, and founders to mentors, collaborators, investors, career opportunities, and the tools they need to succeed.
If every person who see this post donates atleast a dollar, I will be able to get the resources to attract the huge talent on the African continent and build one of the strongest African networks.
WHY IT MATTERS
Africa is home to one of the world's youngest and most ambitious populations. Every day, talented young people develop ideas capable of solving real problems and dream of studying at top tier universities, yet too many never receive the support needed to move from potential to execution.
Katalyze Africa exists to bridge that gap—connecting talent with opportunity and helping transform ideas into ventures, careers, and lasting impact across the continent.
