Help build a well in memory of our beloved Grandma

Asalamu Alaikum,
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'uun
"Surely we belong to Allah and to him shall we return."
We never thought that we will be sharing this news so soon in our lives.
Our Beloved Dadi/Nani, Kanooma Bibi, unexpectedly passed away on the 29th December 2020.
Our nani was very much loved by our whole family as well as the community. She was kind, caring and funny. Our dadi had always yearned for the love of her children and grandchildren and it was this love that had always saw her though all pain and difficulties. Though she was a very strong and independant woman, her body has eventually lost this battle this time round.
My family and I are starting this fundraiser to build a well as sadaqa Jariya for our Grandmother.
“When a person dies, all their deeds end, except three: Sadaqa Jariya (a continuing charity), beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.” (hadith of the Prophet peace be upon him) Sadaqah Jariyah is a special charitable act which continues to benefit us even when we have passed from this world.
On the authority of Sa‘d ibn ’Ubadah (ra) who said, ’I asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Which charity is best?” He [saw] replied, “Providing water”’. (Ibn Majah)
Therefore, In honor of her, we would like to build this well so that it could help those in need of clean water. Please donate whatever you can. Remember charity does not decrease you in wealth. Please keep our nani and our family in your duas during this difficult time. Thank you for the support and May Allah swt bless you all!
اللهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ لِـ-فُلاَنٍ (باسـمه)وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتََـهُ فِي المَهْـدِيّيـنَ ، وَاخْـلُفْـهُ في عَقِـبِهِ في الغَابِِـرِينَ، وَاغْفِـرْ لَنَا وَلَـهُ يا رَبَّ العـالَمـين، وَافْسَـحْ لَهُ في قَبْـرِهِ وَنَـوِّرْ لَهُ فِيهِ
Transliteration: Allaahummaghfir li (Kanooma Bibi) warfa’ darajatahu fil-mahdiyyeena, wakhlufhu fee ‘aqibihi fil-ghaabireena , waghfir-lanaa wa lahu yaa Rabbal-‘aalameena, wafsah lahu fee qabrihi wa nawwir lahu feehi
Meaning: O Allah, forgive Kanooma Bibi and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.
