إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

In loving memory of our dear friend, Ayman Rifan.

We are setting this up as a Sadaqah Jariyah. The Prophet (ﷺ) taught us:

"When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim 1631)

Every single time a family drinks from this well, uses it to cook, or washes with it, the blessings of that action will go directly to Aymans scale of good deeds, insha'Allah. One day a child may memorise Qur'an inside a masjid you helped construct. A family may find comfort in a place that exists because you chose to give.

That is the beauty of Sadaqah Jariyah. The charity is given once and the benefit continues.

We have created this fundraiser to honour Ayman’s memory by raising funds to build a water well in Yemen in his name along side building a Mosque. We hope this will be a form of Sadaqah Jariyah for him, providing clean water to those in need and continuing to benefit others for years to come.

Ayman was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his loss has left a space that can never truly be filled. We wanted to come together and do something meaningful in his memory, something that reflects the love so many people had for him and allows his legacy to continue through acts of goodness.

Every donation, no matter how small, will contribute towards the well and, Insha’Allah, every person who drinks from it or benefits from its water will be a source of ongoing reward for Ayman for the akhira.

May Allah forgive Ayman, have mercy upon him, illuminate his grave, grant him the highest ranks of Jannah and make this charity a continuous source of reward for him. Ameen.
